The temperature gauge that was in the '64(non original) doesn't work so we
need to replace it. The temp sender on the new engine is screwed in nice and
tight. It's the kind with the screw on top. I have a temp gauge from a '67
that has the bullet end. Is it possible to cut off the bullet end and install
a loop connector, or would that ruin the gauge?
