Here's a novel idea. How about approaching Nissan? Tell them you are close to 
working out a way to reproduce the gears and need some venture capital money. 
In exchange they can get the advertising rights for how much people love their 
Datsuns that they repo parts.Kind of a counterpart to the Toyota ads("150,000 
miles  and going strong". ) Maybe a nice shot of a show quality Roadster 
outside a New Delhi  manufacturing plant.....
Doesn't hurt to ask.
