Pat,

The 67.5 - 70 cars do have roll bar mounts from the factory.  The lower 
mounts are on the "ramps" on the floor pan in front of the rear shelf iirc.  
Been a while since I looked.

Sounds like you are dead on about the strap mounts to me.
