For those who aren't familiar with Datsun/Nissan history, here's some "small
world' stuff that wasn't included in the article:

Both John McComb and Mike Downs wound up driving 510's for Pete Brock in the
Trans-Am 2.5 series.

Don Devendorf went on to found Electromotive, which campaigned the Nissan IMSA
GTP cars in the 1980's. They dominated the series for four years. Devendorf's
Race Manager in the IMSA series was another old Triumph stalwart, Kas Kastner.
Kastner had raced a TR-6 in DP against John Morton, who was driving for BRE. I
met Kastner at an IMSA race in Portland and he admitted that they had a hell of
a time trying to keep up with the 2000's. A very nice guy.
