Try the two words that got me my first roadster, back in 1986 - "Lucas
Electric"

Not knowing the difference at the time (the niavete of youth), I informed my
dad that I was looking for and Sprite or MG, since he already had a parts
car rusting away in the back yard. He quickly pointed to the 2000 that he
once drove but had since moth-balled (still has it), and said we would find
a Datsun, because he was NOT going to be working on it every couple of days.
Found my first 1600 a few weeks later, and I've been hooked ever since.
Thanks Dad!

Wood frame? Not at all. You're thinking of another car. The MGA has wood
floors and there is some wood in the door posts I believe but not a wood
frame.

Great looking cars that have seductive lines especially the Mk I. I drove a
few and they weren't all that bad or slow although they were modified to
some extent. One of them had a supercharged engine and it screamed.

Mike

And you can still get almost all the parts!!!!!
