     Thanks for all the tips on pilot bearing removal, and thanks to Tom 
Walter for offering to machine a special tool. As it happens I looked 
down at my Wiha 11mm nut driver and it was a moment of inspiration.  The 
OD of the nut driver was a perfect match for the ID of the pilot bearing 
so I took off the small burr from the "11mm" stamping and it was just 
right!  Packed the inside of the bearing with grease, a few taps...purge 
some air...a few more taps and out it came. Very cool! 

Roadster on everyone!  On this we can aggree!
