Fuel Pump Question ....

Hello,

I am about to replace the fuel pump on a 68 2000. Because I am new to this, I
want to run the symptoms of the problem by the group for comment/opinion.

When running, fuel leaks from the bottom of the fuel pump. My research
indicates this to most likely be a torn diaphragm inside the pump. I
understand I can probably rebuild the pump, but I intend to replace the entire
thing.

Any comment/opinion/ideas/advice is appreciated.
