leaking gas

Yep, bring floats, a new needle and seat, and
    A new fuel filter or 2!  If there's junk in the fuel, it can wedge
in the needle valve, and let gas in, flooding the float bowl.  It
doesn't take much junk- rust flakes do this like crazy!
    Also, for safety, put a filter before the fuel pump.  I KNOW this
goes against conventional wisdom, making the pump draw thru a filter,
but junk in the gas can make a pump's valves stop working, too.  Best
fix is, of course, to clean out the tank, but it's a quick fix that has
gotten me home a half-dozen times...
