With 240Zs to insert the SS mouldings into the rubber gasket you have to do
the same thing when replacing the windshield and or rear glass as I
unfortunately found out.

I replaced the windshield on my car, used the old rubber ( not
recamended) .
I put the SS trim into the seal before I installed the glass, much
easier IMHO.
