Don't you have one of those cool pullers that are shown in the manual :-}
I had the same problem with mine. I had to tap it back and forth
with a plastic head hammer. I even tried threading a bolt in the hole
and clamping a set of vise grips on it, so I would have a surface to
hit on.

What is the easiest way to do this?
