COMMON TUNE UP NUMBERS

Valve clearance:

1500/1600           all  .017" HOT (Recommended)
                         .021" Cold

2000             intake  .008" HOT
                 exhaust .012" HOT

Points                   .018-.021"

     dwell                 49-52 degrees

Plugs                    .027-.031"

Ignition Timing (at idle)

     '66-'67 1600        16 BTDC at 600 rpm

     '68-'70 1600         0  TDC at 700 rpm

     '67 Su 2000         16 BTDC at 700 rpm

     '67 Solex 2000      20 BTDC at 600 rpm

     '68-'70 2000         0  TDC at 700 rpm


THE ABOVE ASSUMES A STOCK ORIGINAL DISTRIBUTOR -
after 25 years, check what is in there!


FUEL ADDITIVE: I do put Fuel Stabilizer in with the
gas, especially a good idea before storing the car.
If I am using the vehicle as a daily basis, it is
not needed.  If you have NOT had head work done,
then running a "lead subsitute" additive is recommended.
