Laura,

Your question has been asked on the Bluebird, Zcar, Triumph and Roadster
lists many times and never really answered. Unfortunately, I not able to
answer it as well. We have Hitachi SU's. Made by Hitachi, licensed by
(S)kinner's (U)nion Ltd. Although similar, I don't believe there's any
direct relationship between a particular model SU and a Hitachi. I have also
heard that there aren't many interchangeable parts between the
manufacturers.

The reason this comes up so many times on the Triumph list is those
unfortunates are always looking for a way to improve their vehicles - by
installing Datsun parts! Go figure!

I'm interested in this as well. Certainly someone in our realm has the
information.

Hey, What's the best way to lighten a TR-6? Remove the engine and drive
train! (gee, I hope Mark doesn't see that!)
