Funny, I slipped too. The late aluminum head used 10 mm the early 7/16's.
(I knew something didn't feel right about 3/8)
The iron heads had bolts (all the ones I remember).
Torque numbers were right though. Now if I can just remember where I put my
torque wrench!....We're both getting old!

Thanks. I slipped on that one as it has been ages since I have had
a 1600 (uh, 8 years). I was thinking it was an 8mm stud, but
10mm makes more sense.
