I have the head off of my 67.5 1600 right now, and no there aren't any
alignment studs on mine.

Should there be studs holding a 1600 head in place? I dont mean studs in
place of head bolts I mean the short studs that keeps the head aligned on
the block properly. Neither of the motors I just took apart had any but it
looks like there are holes for them.
