  It may not be public knowledge yet but Loctite is spinning off its Permatex,
automotive, consumers division.  They will maintain the product name Permatex
but no longer be part of Loctite.
  Don't ask how I know this ( and if I told you I'd have to loctite you to a
tree! ) and in fact parts of it may not be correct but I do know we are losing a
manager to the new company as of tomorrow!  Maybe I should hit him up for some
free samples?

And I ask:
     What's up with Loctite?  They stopped using numbers a while back, and
now I'm having a hard time finding the purple stuff!  Only the
specialists carry it anymore, and it's gotten gawdawful expensive...
