Windshield Replacement

Hi all!

I now have two new windshields and no previous experience with these
type (1970).

I have only replaced old GM's with ribbons and clipped chrome.

1.  How do you remove and replace the chrome on the high windshield
without bending and denting?

2.  How do you get the windshield in and out with that rubber band
around it?
