I contacted the owner of the roadsters that Gordon posted contact
info on to the list. turns out the 2 litre car is a '69 1600 with a
2000 drivetrain- and to top it off, it's the same car I owned when I
got married and we took on a 3400 mile jaunt up to Bar Harbor, Maine
and environs for our delayed honeymoon. would enjoy getting it back,
as it was an old, familiar friend. we found out when we got back from
the honeymoon that Elaine was pregnant, and ended up having to sell
it. familiar story for anyone? I heard rumor that my first 2000,
#00098, is in the Portland, Oregon area these days. anyone know
anything about that one? white Solex car with red interior (at least
it was built that way)

ran across some interesting cars for sale this week- all down in the
virginia area- '56 Stude Golden Hawk $2500, '64 273 Barracuda $2000,
'66 Dodge Charger $3000, 1 GMC and 5 Chevy pickups '66-'68 for $5000
the batch. also know of 6 DATSUN 280ZX's in N. Carolina for $3000 the
batch. I apologize for the digression from roadsters. some of us, I
think, like to find deals on other cars too.
