Subject: Clutch question?

My clutch feels and works great when the car is cold or when I've been
cruising on the highway for a while. However, under heavy use in traffic
in the city, the more I use the clutch, the more I have to pump it in
order not to grind gears.

Does this sound like a simple matter of replacing the clutch fluid or
something more sinister like a master cylinder?

In other news, I got my rollbar (oops, "overhead" bar) from Rallye
lastnight (thanks Dann!) and it works great! I've already rolled the car
twice! Not. FWIW, it took me longer to unwrap all the bubblewrap and
tape from the bar than it did to install it. At first I thought it was
too wide, but snug is good when it comes to these things. It matched up
perfect with the factory holes and my top clears it with ease.

Does anyone make or modify existing tonneau covers to fit with rollbars?
Also, any recommendations on methods of repairing gashes in convertible
tops would be welcome. I have a 1.5" cut where my folding frame pinched
the vinyl. I'm just too lazy to put the top up and down "properly".

Thanks in advance,
