The rust bucket I carry my gas around in (others may call theirs a gas tank)
is finally going to get some work done. First I want to open the inspection
plate and peak in there to get an idea of what I need to plan for.
Question: What kind of gasket is there on the plate? Where do I get a new
one, when I open the thing up. And yes, I know it is not the best time to
start smoking while on this project.
On a another note: I just got some keys made from a local guy in Tigard,
OR. I explained that they were very special keys from a special car and may
be difficult to find. After he fell over laughing, he made four for me in
under a minute from his "private stash". Anyone need keys or blanks, let me
know.
