Ahhhhh.  Thanks, Neil.  I din' think of that.  Excellent point!
I've kinda decided to get the estimates based on replacing the door 
shell, so I don't think latent cracking will be a problem in this case. 
Anyway, if anyone else is interested, I've found a couple body shops 
that do fiberglass work in the Torrance / beach cities area.
