By the way, I found your comment about the ratios very interesting... 
if you are talking aboout the Elan C/R three rail 'box, then you must
also (drool..) be talking about the Alfa C/R GTA 'box.

A quick comparison (and yes, 1st - 4th are darn near the same...)

 Alfa GTA                   2.54        1.70    1.26    1.00    0.86

 Ford Three rail C/R        2.51        1.64    1.23    1.00


Or, were you talking about the semi-close?
