What tempts me about the Tempest (sorry) is not the stock configuration
so much as the potential for modifying the rear end to a contemporary
high performance IRS (with limited slip), so the car could hold its own
in handling versus contemporary cars, but have that quaint early 60's
style. I expect that would require some custom fabricated mounts and
suspension links, possibly arms, etc. but would give a nice tidy adjustable
coilover IRS.

"We, too, who look upon the loom are deafened; and only when we escape it
shall we hear the thousand voices that speak through it.... Ah, mortal!
then, be heedful; for so, in all this din of the great world's loom, thy
subtlest thinkings may be overheard afar." - Herman Melville, _Moby Dick_
