The Muncies that I have seen into have all had helical cut teeth.
One of the more common Muncies is the M-20.
The M-22 is more rare and known as the "Rock-Crusher", not because it has
straight cut gears (which it doesn't), but because of it is supposed
indestructibly.
I think that an old Muncie would be an excellent choice of transmission for
a BOP 215 (unless of course an overdrive is wanted).
