My Rover 3500 (P6) has a nasty oil leak from the front (probably left hand
side) of the engine. We think it is coming from the fuel pump. To get the
seal the mechanic thinks he'll have to buy a new fuel pump, and this can
easily cost $300A or more. Any suggestions for a cheaper solution? Anyone
know of an "off the shelf" seal kit available for the fuel pump? Seems a
pity to have to replace the entire part just to fix a seal.
