Would I be wrong in thinking that you could get a piston from your local Las
Vegas Land-Rover dealer?
Also I am curious about your backwards spinning engine. Where did you get a
camshaft that would allow the engine to run backwards? Does this cause some
problems with the water-pump and oil pump not working well?

Bad news when we pulled the pan off my 215 Buick
(in a Corvair, spinning backwards). Pieces of # 5
piston laying all over. Tried to locate one from typical
supplier here (Las Vegas) = no luck. Can anyone
suggest a source (hopefully somewhere nearby)?
I should have been ready for this, as I knew I'd
need to get hard parts some time for this beast.
