Actually, if Ford doesn't want to use the Rover/BOP v8, couldn't somebody
(us?) else buy the rights to it? After all, this is America, right? Money
talks...

Glen , In fact the Ford V8 if it is used at all would most likely end up in
the Range Rover and Discovery.
Now if we could just buy the MG trademark and the rights to the Rover V8 and
maybe a nice platform ---- Just playing what if.
