Talk to Woody Cooper @ the Wedge Shop 508 880 5448 or e-mail
SCMTR8@aol.com & check out the web site for RPI engineering in
England rpi-engineering.co.uk

RPI has a 4.6 L short block new, & Woody builds some killer 3.9, 4.2,
4.6, 4.8L Rovers

Ted @ TS Imports also builds some hot Rovers- web site
tsimportedautomotive.com

Nothing wrong with a high torque truck motor if you rear gears are
appropriate to keep the power range where you want the mph. Not as nice
as reving to 7,000 rpm's, but most of us don't do that too often. Sounds
like a perfect case for a T-56 6-speed, if you can get it to fit into
the car.

Just some ramblings...
