I just scored on a Healey 100M hot wheel today. It's kind of cheesy in
that it has a V-8 supercharger sticking up out of the bonnet, but it
could be easily cut off and bondo'd over. It even has the dropped
windshield and louvers in the bonnet.

It's in their first editions series no. 32 out of 36 it says 2000
collector no. 092 and seems to be #24391 or 24291-1191G1 apparantly
number #30 in the series is a mini cooper.

If anyone in the bay area finds any more of either the healey or the
mini, pick up a couple extras for me and I'll pay you back.

In other news, I just got a way cool new job. The downside is that it
is in Redwood City which is too far to be a reasonable daily commute
from Felton (Santa Cruz Mountains). If anyone knows of a reasonably
cheap room for rent, I'm looking for a weeknight crashpad, within
bicycling distance of woodside road and 101.

I also think that I discovered the cause of the mysterious power loss
on my MGB. It was a fubar timing light. Despite what the timing light
said, I ended up just giving up and advancing the timing about 5-10
degrees (about 3/8" of rotation) and all of a sudden it would start
even when hot and the power loss went away.
