The coolant leak in my GT6 (hey, I sound like Geordi!) was due to a bad seal
between the water pump body and the head. I couldn't stop it by tightening
the bolts, so I assume I boogered up the gasket. I've got a new one on order
along with a new set of bolts.

I started, albeit slowly, work on preparing my Spitfire Mk.3 for paint. I
removed the rear bumpers (including that spiffy bar that runs between the split
bumpers) and all rear lights, along with the top and chrome trim. This
weekend I want to remove the front bumper, the headlights and other lights,
and the interior. Lastly, I'll remove the dash and all related stuff, all
glass, and handles, etc.. Then I'll remove everything off the bulkhead
(rust there) so the guy can clean it all up. Then I'll trailer it in for
bodywork and paint.

TRF has a complete set of interior panels for $180, and a new top for $180. Add
about $150 for a carpet set, and it'll be getting close. Of course, I'll need
a new dash for $150 from Prestige, and a dashtop cover for about $50. Add new
boot lid hinges for $30, stop Stop STop STOp STOP!

Rule 1: NEVER buy all the stuff you need in 1 order!

Rule 2: NEVER keep track of what all this stuff cost!

Rule 3: You forget it all anyway when you take that first spring ride with
        the top down...
