GT6 Head

If the head is new and compression is off what about rings and/or a bad 
piston ? As for the head, did you replace the rocker shaft? They wear,  
and sometimes oil badly at the far end where #6 is.  As a result you 
maight get bad valve action.

You may also have the shaft binding on the rear pedastle (how the
hell do you spell that, I've gone blank)  Are they lined up and true.

Just thinking of wierd causes, as the obvious has been addressed.
