As T.J. pointed out, there are many modifications required if you
want to create a "Tiger". If your friend is just interested in more
power, you might consider a "Alpine-6". I saw a number of very clean
straight six conversions at SUNI II this summer. They didn't appear
to require any chassis modifications at all (and could therefore be
returned to their original state if desired). The 2.6L six out of
the old Capri seemed to be popular, and one installation even kept
the Capri's automatic transmission. I think I took some pictures
that I might be able to dig up...
