I would like to fit rack & pinion steering to my 67 Anglia, I suppose the
steering arms should pivot at the same point as the control arms so all the
geometry stays in sync. The problem is finding a rack thats narrow enough as
the pivot point for the lower control arms (Macpherson strut) are only twelve
& one half inches apart. It does'nt matter to me if the rack mounts in front
or rear as I can adapt either way. If theres a unit out there that someone
knows about that only comes on right hand drive vehicles I would be intrested
in finding out, because the car can easily be converted to right hand drive.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Not your normal British car, Not your
normal person! Thank you, Doug Thomas
