Ryan:
About your TR-7 with the V6.
I am the original owner of a '80 Tr-7 convertible that is in very good
shape. I tried for a long time to sell it in the Washington DC area for
$3,500 with little success. I don't think there is a big demand even for
the finer cars. Several years ago I sunk over $2k in mine on body and
paint work figuring I'd never sell it. Now, I hardly get a chance to
drive it and I'd probably take $2,500 for it if I got an offer. I'm not
sure if I'd spend alot of money on replacing that engine either. I
suspect there are a number TR-7's out there in the $2-3K range.
I really don't want to sell it (give it away) but it seems a shame not to
drive it, since it really is a fun car.
