[Apologies if you get this more than once; I've sent it to the
British-cars and Tigers lists, as well as to several individuals.]

Several days back on the British cars list, I made the following
flippant remark:

> The number of Alpines on the Britcar list seems to be growing as of
> late; for years there were only a handful (and that's counting the 2
> Talbot Alpines I'm aware of on the list). Maybe we should start an
> Alpine sublist...

I have been surprised by the interest in such a sublist, so away we
go...

Announcing the Sunbeam Alpines mailing list!

Anyone is welcome to join. The charter of the list will be discussion
of the Sunbeam Alpine and other 4-cylinder Rootes Group cars of the
era. So if you own or have an interest in Sunbeams, Hillmans, Humbers,
or Singers, this is the place to be.

To join the list, mail to: alpines-request@autox.team.net
To post a message to the list: alpines@autox.team.net

At present, this is a mail reflector only; I do not expect traffic to
be heavy enough to warrant a digest.

Based on previous messages to me, these folks have already been
subscribed:

        marrone@optilink.dsccc.com (Frank Marrone)
        semerasx@justice.usdoj.gov (Steven Semeraro)
        rs11@ElSegundoCA.NCR.COM (Ramon Spontelli)

(Let me know if any of these addresses are incorrect.)
