I've seen the archaic term "maugre" meaning "in spite of" spelled as
"maugry" in some middle english texts.  Not sure this counts, though.

ObLBC: Discovered Sybil's custom exhaust had NO mountings.  Fabricated some,
but rattles and thumps continue.  At least the header isn't going to 
break off any more
