Gentlemen

I own a 1974 1/2 JH5 (5 speed Getrag box, 5mph bumpers, no air pump!)
and have 160k on the original bottom end. I used to be up on rebuilds
several years ago and now I am at the point where I have few options.

A few years back, I wanted to get the 2.2l conversion kit from
Dave Bean Eng., (new crank, bearings..), improve the oil depravation
problem (adding matrixes to the oil pan), flow the intake manifold
(already have Mukini side drafts, Mallory Unilite distributer, and
Jacob's coil, wires and spark computer(?), 3 row radiator) and if money
permits larger values also from Dave Bean, lighter flywheel, heavier
clutch and a 4spd rear differential. Any other ideas or enhancements??

There are a few local shops in the San Jose area which will blueprint
the engine etc.., however, they usually don't know of any enhancements.
The White Lady has been sparse on new ideas so I thought someone out
there might have more information, stories, good shops in the San Jose CA.
area or whatever they could offer. Any comments would be appreciated on
floor panel replacements (badly rusted!) also.

Tom Kraft who races Jensen Healys has offered his services a few years
back but I don't really want to box my engine up and send it out for a
month or two.

Thanks for the inputs

Paul Retlewski
