No way!
The TR6 piston will never give you a measurable compression in a GT6 bore -
the gudgeon pin (you call them wrist pin?) is too far up on the 2500
piston, so that piston on a 2000 crank will stop about half an inch from
the top of the bore! (try decking the block to cure *that* one!)
