REGARDING Semifore trafficators, gas tanks, side curtains
Semifore Trafficators:
I lost who was talking about these, some Bentley boys, I think. Anyway, my
Jag Mark 5 was built for the US market, so it didn't get them, but those
critters are covered in the Factory shop manual and parts catalogue so Email me
if you need any details. Didn't most Morris Minors also have them?

Gas Tanks:
A restoration shop near me offers a tin-dipping service for classic car gas
tanks. They will repair any holes at an hourly rate, then tin dip for something
like $300. They claim it will last forever and you don't really need a fuel
filter after you've had your tank tinned. I saw a tin dipped E-type tank that
looked very good.
TAS Restorations, they advertise in Hemmings.

Side Curtain Rubber:
You can get sheets of black rubber in various thicknesses from industrial
supply houses. Thats how I made taillight sealing and mounting pads for the
Mark 5.

Why did the chicken cross the road?
To prove to the raccoons that it really could be done.
