It is a pity about that car. However, Diana Riggs seems oblivious of the 
sad display it makes. She even appeared with it on the set during one of 
the earlier "Inspector Morse" episodes.

A Mark II door is so designed that the user need only *release* his hold 
on the door for proper closure (providing the motor isn't pointed 
downhill). As for the disc wheels and vinyl roof, there is no accounting for 
taste, but I surely expected better from Chief Instector Morse.

However, I believe the motorcar to be a Mark II (with a nice paint job 
and in need of new parking lights..  at least new lens).
