In the late '60s I was living in DC and the snake was my only means of
transportation, year 'round. One late winter night I'd just dropped my
date off at an apartment complex. It was very cold and the parking area
was icy. Ahead of me was a snow tire clad Camaro trying to get up a
modest incline, wheels spinning like mad. The snake had no trouble
getting around this guy on Pirellis with its Powr Lok diff (same diff
as in a 427). In fact, I did a lot of driving in the snow with this
setup and never had any problems.
