All this talk about riviting aluminum to steel frames and the
corrosion that takes place prompts me to give advice (what, again!?)
1) Insulate the contact areas with electrical tape
2) Use aluminum rivets instead of steel because they won't
        react with the aluminum panels.

Some factories tried to prevent squeeks and provide insulation by
putting felt in between the aluminum and steel... not good... the
felt absorbs water and stays wet for months...  Use closed-cell
foam instead of felt where these can get wet (everywhere on an lbc :-).
