"Buick" V8

There was a stock MGB V8 in the local MG club some years ago.  I don't
know if it was originally imported to the US or brought in later.

There is also a local guy (Vancouver, WA) who does a very nice job of
putting a V8 in your MGB for you.  There were also two of these cars
for sale at the local British field meet.

I forget the guy's name of course.  It's Les ????.  If people are really
interested in having one done by him I can call another old MG NW member
(the club is now defunct) and ask him how to get in touch with Les.

According to a book I have on the histor of the MG/MGB series, this engine
was also used in the MGB-V8 (or whatever it was called.)  A few were built
and sold in GB, none were imported to teh USA.

Sounds like an interesting project.  Probably a dumb question, but does
anyone make a "conversion kit" for installing (non stock) engineds in MGBs?
