Just tried to order gas tank clearer, etch and slushing compound from
Moss. They're out of stock on the cleaner and the etch and won't have
any for another two weeks. Aaaaaagghh! Guess I'll have to check some
of the local bike and RV places.
I had also planned to order some of the little nylon packing washers
that go on lift-the-dot studs but the ones Moss sells are clear rather
than opaque red. I can buy clear washers at most any hardware store.
Anyone know of a source for the red washers? They don't have to be
nylon. In fact, I think the ones on my car are made of some other
material. Size: 10-32.
