Yes - He started off flying over France and Belgium at the age of 17 in
SE5As and then moved on to Sopwith Camels.  His flying log is with the
Imperial war museum, but my family has a copy and it makes interesting
reading.  At one point he was turfed out of his sleeping quarters for a
just captured German pilot of senior rank !

Enough about LBA (Little British Airplanes) and stuff.  I found out
yesterday that the seven, as an amateur built car, wont have the emmisions
check that the British MOT check specifies ;)

After much cogitating and contemplation I decided upon BRG with the Lotus
racing stripe in yellow.  If it takes me four or five  months to get it built
I should be VROOOOOMING in a seven by March :-)  I would like to book
a few weeks of California sun for March 94 now please.
