Let us also not forget Volkswagen's own TV commercial for the Beetle where
the announcer hopped in, slammed the door, drove down a boat ramp into the
water and just floated away.

For the benefit of those who just _had_ to try that with their own cars,
there was a little disclaimer superimposed at the bottom of the screen:
"While a Volkswagen will definitely float, it will not float indefinitely."
