How'd you do all!

For all you Mini fans out there, you might want to check out the April 1993
issue of "European Car" (published in US). They have great articles on
the Mini and feature the Mini Cooper S in their regular "Sports Car Review"
segments. Plenty of great photos (b&w and colour) too!

Articles of particular interest to British Car fans:

        pg 32. MGA Twin Cam
"Reviewing one of the nicest roasters around"

pg 42. Sports Car Review: Mini Cooper S
"The little car that could... and did!"

        pg 44. Mini Racer
"One of the most original Coopers still hits the track"

        pg 46. Indy Cooper
"The car that changed open-wheel racing"

        pg 54. Woody Wagon
"A Mini hauler 'Cooperized' for performance"

        pg 100. Sovereign Jag
"How to make an XJ-6 more than an 'English Camaro'"

>From the article on the 'S': "Despite its age, the Mini Cooper was revived
in 1989. Most are now sold in Japan (10,000 in 1991 alone!) followed by
France and the UK. The base 1.3 model [pictured] sells for $12,000 in
England. A special edition model freatures specific upholstery and paint
treatments, and last year John Cooper introduced a new Cooper S model, which
adds $5,000 to the price of a standard Mini."

Right after reading these articles I spotted a gorgeous red Mini about
my town --- a rare sighting! --- talk about coincidence! This Mini
looked brand-new too!

        Cheers!
