I got my Tiger's tanks cleaned at:

    Superior Striping Service, Portland, OR

They removed ALL the paint and ALL the rust. Cost $66.00 for 2 tanks and 3
pipe pieces. They handle up to full car sized objects. I would expect
similiar operations in other major cities. i found them in the Yellow Pages
under:
Automobile Restoration - Antique & Classic
        Metal Cleaning

I then refinished the tanks inside with:

    Steelcote - Coat-Seal Fuel Tank Lining 190-G 105

I bought it at a radiator shop, $20 / quart. It uses a pour in, slosh around
and pour out technique. Only time will tell how well the Steelcoat will work.

Roland: would you send me a copy of the article on wood wheel refinishing?
