My wife reads his books- he has several of his cars written into the story
lines, and has even included himself as a minor caharacter, astride
a Dusenberg Model J or some such, as he introduces himself to the main
character before a race...
Alas, none of this has to do with brit-cars, but this does...
A friend of mine just picked a '70 XKE coupe- reasonable condition,
runs ok, needs cosmetics. I know that the suspension & brakes ought
to have a good inspection RealSoon, along with the F & R tube sections-
has anyone got a list of other specifics to look for on such beasties???
