There's this Monty Python sketch in which Eric Idle plays
a counterman for an airline called The Verrifast Plaine Co, Ltd.

In it, a customer asks him how long a flight to America will
take. He tells her, and she responds "Oooh, is it a jet?"

To which he replies, "It's not so much a jet, it's more a sort of
Triumph Herald engine with wings."

Could he possibly be describing the original Spitfire? :-)
