And what's wrong with baby blue, may I ask? ;-)
The only thing we didn't like about our '66 MGB when my husband and I
became victims three years ago was the baby blue color. We were sure
we would have it painted within the next few months. Guess what --
it's still blue! A lot of things came first before a paint job, like a
new transimssion, wire wheel rebuild and new interior. Now we have
sort-of gotten used to the blue and cajole ourselves into thinking that
it makes the car look more unique. We even decided it must be MG "Iris
Blue" but recently learned that it's actually '67 Chevy blue #356. It was
also painted for $300 by Santa Cruz mountain gypsies.
The paint job doesn't look bad, from a distance ;-) Maybe we'll paint
it *this* winter, if we ever decide on a color.....

BTW, welcome!

P.S. you missed a discussion of car color jsut a few weeks ago that
included directions for painting a car with spray cans. Maybe yours
would be a good "victim"?
